Melissa Niu is a wife, mother and a complete addict to photography. Modeling throughout junior high and high school was an interesting experience, but her love and passion sparked from the magic that was happening behind the camera. The skinny, noodly little girl continued singing, sports, and eventually became a student athlete volleyball player at Washington State University and began her study of Broadcast Journalism. This soon turned into her first job as the post and pre-game broadcaster for NBC Seattle only to find herself in dugouts playing catch with Mariners pitchers and desperate for good stories as she covered her eyes in the Seahawks locker room. The love of writing and reporting the next “big story” still subsides in her core. Cue the show [FRAMED].
Melissa lives with her husband and three daughters. Although she dreams of fresh crepes under the Eiffel tower and the thrills of zip lines through far away jungles, motherhood and Mac n’ Cheese are currently her comfort and everlasting happiness. She absolutely loves good fashion and the taste of fine dining but you’ll more than likely find her changing diapers in sweatpants with the remnants of stains from eating a good juicy burger.
